Dorothy Kamin

Dorothy H. Kamin, age 93, a resident of Royal Oak, formerly of Detroit and Stoney Point, Ontario, Canada, died November 21, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born June 18, 1916 in Highland Park. Dorothy and her husband Carl, owned and operated Downtown Train and Camera in Detroit, and later retired to Canada. She is survived by her daughter, Carleen David Belfi; grandchildren, Christine Randy Jacobsen and Sharon Lee Kramer; and great grandchildren, Alliah and Julia. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 67 years, Carl S. Kamin, on April 19, 2008. Private services were held.
