Doris Genrich

Doris "Jane" Genrich, age 85, a resident of Royal Oak, formerly of Ferndale, died July 2, 2012 at Cambridge East Healthcare Center in Madison Heights. She was born June 29, 1927 in Detroit to the late James and Wanda Chellew. Mrs. Genrich enjoyed crocheting and gardening. She always made a welcoming home. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Alan Danaher and Barbara Jeffrey Schwartz; grandchildren, Andrew Carrie, Kelly the late Michael, Sean, Melissa, Jaclyn and Patricia; and great grandchildren, Gracie, Owen and Ryleigh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene J. Genrich, in 1988; and siblings, Donald Chellew and Laura Stevens. There will be memorial visitation Saturday 1-5 p.m. with a 4 p.m. prayer service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
