Donald Reichel

Donald G. Reichel, 80, of Royal Oak for more than 55 years, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008. He was born May 24, 1928 in Detroit. Mr. Reichel was a 1946 graduate of Shrine High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Korea. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1988 after 36 years of service. He was the head of the graphic arts department of the Lincoln-Mercury division. Mr. Reichel was predeceased by his wife, Audrey M. Reichel, on June 28, 1988. He is survived by his children, Kenneth P. Reichel of Royal Oak, Robert G. Reichel of Bloomfield Hills, Donald Reichel, Jr. of Clawson and David J. Reichel of Royal Oak; siblings, John H. Reichel and Lois Nichols; and four grandchildren.
