DOLORES MARIE SCHROEDER, age 81, January 5, 2010 of Shelby Twp. She was born January 11, 1928 in Detroit, the daughter of Maroon and Sadie Farrah Sliman, and married Jerome O. Schroeder on October 2, 1954 in Detroit at St. Martin on the Lake Catholic Church. She is a 40 year member of St. Kieran Catholic Church, Shelby Twp., a former coordinator of Homebound Ministries for St. Kieran and a member of the St. Kieran Perpetual Adoration. She is a founding member of St. Kieran's Community of God's Love Prayer Group - Detroit Catholic Charismatic Renewal for 40 years. She is a member of the Intercessors of the Lamb, Omaha, Nebraska and a lay member in Shelby Twp. She was a member of the Red Hats "Silly Sassy Shelby Sisters" Shelby Twp. chapter. Loving wife of Jerome O. Schroeder. Dear mother of Karen Scott Holland, Cynthia Clay Cprek, John Schroeder & fiance Diane Woznicki son Matthew, Fred Cathy Schroeder, Patricia Schroeder, Jerome Lynda Schroeder. Loving grandmother of William, Rose & Peter Wendy Holland, Katie, Julie & Stephen Cprek, Jerome Kyla, Andrew, Christopher & Joseph Schroeder, Daniel & Lydia Schroeder, Emily, Erik & Mary Schroeder. Loving great grandmother of Lillian & Violet Schroeder. Dear sister of Catherine Stapleton, Joseph Jan Sliman, Julie Campbell, Michael Sliman and the late Pauline Hanna and Helen Kuspa. There will be a Divine Mercy Chaplet at 3:00 PM and a Parish Scripture Rosary at 7:00 PM. Mrs. Schroeder will lie in state on Friday at St. Kieran Catholic Church, 53600 Mound Rd., Shelby Twp. from 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM time of Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
