Dolores Hauer

Dolores R. Hauer, age 83 , a lifetime resident of Utica passed away August 30, 2011 at The Evangelical Home, Sterling Heights. Dolores was a longtime member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Utica where she was active in the Altar Society and the Quilting Group. She loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. She is survived by her husband Edwald whom she married on October 25, 1947. Loving mother of Debbie James Todd, Gary Debie Hauer, Vicki Hauer and husband Timothy Welker. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Leo and Helen Kasznski Kortas. Dear sister of Rose Fox, Marcella Goodwin, Christopher Kortas and the late Leo Kortas and Rita Draganski. Friends may call at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica from 2:00 - 9:00 pm Thursday. Scripture service 7:00 pm Thursday. Mrs. Hauer will lie in state on Friday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 44633 Utica Rd., Utica, from 9:30 am until 10:00 am time of Mass. Interment St. Lawrence Cemetery.
