Dennis Cruger

Dennis Lane Cruger, age 71, a resident of Berkley for the past 45 years, died June 12, 2010 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Mr. Cruger was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He retired in 1989 from AT&T as an international project manager after 27 years of service, and retired in 1995 from EDS after five years of service. He loved fishing and going up north. He is survived by his wife, Ilona Torok Cruger, whom he married October 5, 1963 in Sinop, Turkey; daughter, Julia E. Scott Cox of Chesterfield Township; and sister, Amy Hurt of Laingsburg, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Cruger. Memorial visitation Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 11 a.m. until the time of memorial service 12 noon at Emmanuel Bethel Church, 4000 Normandy, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Laurence Wood officiating. The inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
