Deealt Kerr

Deealt J. Kerr, age 88, a lifelong resident of Royal Oak, died October 8, 2012 at his home. He was born December 13, 1923 in Royal Oak to the late Deealt and Mabel Kerr. Mr. Kerr was a U.S. Navy Seabees veteran. He worked for Conveyor Engineering in Detroit in the shipping and receiving department for 30 years. He loved woodworking, gardening, his car and family. He is survived by his children, Sherry Bruce Eaton and Cathy Miller; grandchildren, Tanya Mundt, Heather Kevin Kehoe, Andrew Nicole Millenovich and Mika Miller; and great grandchildren, Brandon, Morgan, Tyler, Alexandra, Landen, Raina and Payton. He was preceded in death by his son, Johnny Kerr; and sister, Lorraine Bettendorf. The visitation will be Friday 9:30 a.m. until the time of service 1:30 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Paul Chateau officiating. The burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
