Dee Brell

Dee Brell, age 76, April 9, 2009, was the beloved wife and best friend of Jerry Brell, for 54 years, and loving mother of Karen Scott Shreves and Lynda Michael North. One of her many passions was her grandchildren Sarah, Derek, Emma, Andrew, Audrey, Clara, Michael, John Paul and Greta. There were many memories of traveling with grandma, having tea parties, reading books, playing games and shopping for that perfect toy or outfit. Dee loved any kind of music and enjoyed playing the piano and organ. She loved to dance and go to the theatre. She was talented in many areas of crafts, home decorating and porcelain painting. Dee loved to tell a good joke even if the punch line didn't come out quite right. She touched many lives and will be deeply missed. Funeral Thursday in state 11:30 a.m. until time of mass 12 noon at the National Shrine of the Little Flower, Royal Oak. Memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital appreciated.
