David Meitzner

David K. Meitzner, age 57, a 7-year resident of Pleasant Ridge, formerly of Royal Oak, died July 14, 2008 at his home. He was born June 14, 1951 in Royal Oak. Mr. Meitzner was a 1969 graduate of Dondero High School in Royal Oak. He was the service manager at Diamond Lincoln Mercury for 29 years and then at Matthews-Hargreaves for 8 years. He was an easygoing laid-back kind of guy who enjoyed a good round of golf and relaxing weekends at the cottage with family and friends. Mr. Meitzner is survived by his wife, Diane L. Meitzner, whom he married October 14, 2000 at Rackham Golf Course in Huntington Woods; children, Lindsay Chris Karczewski of Warren, Heather Dave Somand of Ann Arbor, Stacy Meitzner of Pleasant Ridge and Jodi Tony Iacco of Royal Oak; brother, Todd Meitzner of Royal Oak; and granddaughter, Savannah. He was preceded in death by his brother, Chuck Meitzner.
