Funeral services for David M. Wright, 53, will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, January 20th at Worden Chapel with Rev. Al Sims of Newcastle Southern Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Persons wishing to pay their respects may do so at Worden Chapel on Thursday, January 19th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to service time.
Mr. Wright died peacefully Monday, January 16th at his ranch home in Custer County, South Dakota following a brief illness.
Dave was born June 10, 1952 at Powell, Wyoming the son of Thearon and Marjorie Reifer Wright.
He is survived by his wife of thirty five years, Dolly Shaw Wright of Newcastle; a son Andy Wright: three brothers, Danny, Alvin and Russell Wright; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one son Jimmy.
