David Fournier

David "Mike" Fournier, age 81, a resident of Farmington Hills, died July 19, 2010 at his home. He was born March 4, 1929 in Sault Ste. Marie. Mr. Fournier was an avid sportsman who loved fishing and baseball, especially the Detroit Tigers. He is now reunited with his wife of 59 years, the love of his life, Margaret Ann. The couple married October 28, 1950 in Sault Ste. Marie. He is survived by his children, Lee Eric Sandweiss, Julia Dougherty, Michael Lee Fournier, Patricia Kim Fournier and David A. Fournier; and grandchildren, Michael, Ethan, Noah, Timothy and Patrick. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Fournier, on October 24, 2009; and brother, Pat Fournier. The memorial visitation will be held Saturday 12 noon until the time of memorial service 1 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
