David L. Bell, age 59, of Newcastle WY, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning February 26th, 2008. He was born in Red Cloud, NE on May 4th 1948 to Richard and Juanita Bell.
He was a highly decorated soldier through the Vietnam War, completing two consecutive terms at the height of the conflict. He served his country with pride and honor, sacrificing his future to protect American soil.
He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and brother, showing love and compassion to anyone in need. He has passed along a legacy of hard work and determination for generations to come and will be missed greatly.
He was married March 20th 1970 to Donna Stubbs in Scottsdale, AZ Survivors include his wife of 39 years Donna Bell of Newcastle, WY, his two sons Jeff and Jason Bell of Newcastle, WY and his two daughters, Lea Mitchell of Astoria, OR and Sunny Chancy of Tallahassee, FL.
A private family memorial was held Sunday March 2nd, 2008 at 4PM at the Bell residence in Newcastle, WY. No other services will be held to uphold his wishes. The family would like to express gratitude to all who have sent flowers, gifts and prayers.
