Dallas Buren
August 7, 1953 — January 16, 2006
Funeral services for Dallas E. Van Buren, 52, will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 21st at Worden Chapel with Pastors Charles Dutcher and Bill Haley officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established. Persons wishing to pay their respects may do so on Friday, January 20th from 9:00 am to 12 noon and from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Also Saturday from 9:00 am to service time.
Dallas died Monday, January 16th at Weston County Health Services following a brief illness.
Mr. Van Buren was born August 7, 1953 in Newcastle, Wyoming the son of Ernest G. and Elsie N. Westman Van Buren. He was raised in Newcastle, attending and graduating from Newcastle High School. He also attended a year of trade school in radio repair.
When asked to describe Dallas, his family will tell you he personally loved hunting, fishing, and the oil field. He saw the fun in everyday living and was admired by his fellow workers.
He is survived by his brother Keith Van Buren of White Sulphur Springs, Montana. Also surviving are several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and two brothers Gary and Steve Van Buren.
