Cleta Walker

Mrs. Walker died Monday, March 23rd at Weston Manor Nursing Home.

Cleta was born October 23, 1913 in the Howard Community Southwest of Newcastle, Wyoming the daughter of Monroe and Ethel Branscom Adkins. She attended school in Cambria and Newcastle. On February 24, 1934 she married Francis Walker at Deadwood, South Dakota. They made their home on various ranches until they settled in the Fairview vicinity. She moved to Newcastle in 1999. She was also enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed going out to eat and traveling.

Mrs. Walker was a 50 year member of the Progressive Ann's Club, the Clareton Farm Bureau, and active in Sagebrush Maids and Wranglers 4a�"H Club.

Survivors include her daughter Catherine Hokanson of Buffalo, WY; two sons, Dwaine and James Sandy Walker both of Newcastle; three grandchildren, Dee Hokanson, Scott Maggie Hokanson of Kaycee, WY and Christy Kenny Jons of Iowa. Also surviving are six great grandchildren, two nieces and five nephews.

Preceding her in death was her husband, parents, two sisters, and a brother killed in World War II. Also preceding her in death was a son in law Bob Hokanson and daughter in law Linda Walker.
