Charles Tucker

Charles A. Tucker, age 84, of Royal Oak, died June 25, 2009 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. He was born May 30, 1925 in Palmersville, TN. Mr. Tucker was a World War II veteran in the U.S. Marine Corps and received the Purple Heart in the Battle of Iwo Jima. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Martin Tucker; daughter, Trudy Bill Tucker-Beach; and step-grandson, Brian Beach. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Harold T. Tucker, Eva Brown Maupin, Irvin Brown, Nona Tucker, Lloyd Tucker and Delma Tucker Foster. Visitation will be Saturday 6-8 p.m. and Sunday 3-8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The service will be Monday 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Lawrence officiating.
