Charles Poehlman

Charles Poehlman, 84, a lifelong resident of Royal Oak, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007 at home. He was born on Dec. 10, 1923 in Detroit. Mr. Poehlman was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Korean conflict. He will be missed by family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Betty Poehlman, whom he wed on Jan. 28, 1946 in Ferndale; children, Danny Marti Poehlman of Louisville, KY and Nancy James Cook of Shelbyville, KY; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Mr. Poehlman was predeceased by a son, James Charles Poehlman.
