Charles Miller

Charles Miller, age 83, a resident of Royal Oak, formerly of Detroit, died August 23, 2009 at Georgian Bloomfield Health Care Center in Bloomfield Hills. He was born August 1, 1926 in Detroit. Mr. Miller loved travelling and enjoyed spending time in northern Michigan. He also had a large collection of bells and was a member of the Elks Club. He is survived by his wife, Olga Miller, whom he married August 29, 1948 in Detroit; sons, Glenn Cindy Miller of Sturgis and Chris Trish Miller of Sanford; brother, Richard Betty Miller of Petoskey; grandchildren, Brandon Elizabeth Miller of Macomb Township, Eric Miller of Austin, TX and a granddaughter who also lives in Texas. Memorial visitation will be Saturday 12:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service 1 p.m. at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Birmingham, with the Rev. Ray Scherbarth officiating.
