Charles Goebel

Goebel, Charles Henry, age 86, born October 16, 1924 in Garber, Oklahoma, passed away suddenly August 5th, 2011. Mr. Goebel graduated from Royal Oak High School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Burma India Theater. After the service, he graduated from the University of Michigan in 1950 and began his career at the Wayne Oakland Bank where he later became Chairman. He was the husband of Jeanine Goebel, father of Mark Goebel and Karen Easley, and grandfather to five wonderful grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13th, 11 a.m. at Christ Church Cranbrook, 470 Church Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304.
