Charles Boddy

BODDY, Charles H. "Chuck". age 72. Loving husband of Dorothy E. nee Gall. Dear father of Kimberly Randy Ciccotelli, Diane Timothy Burnard, and Paul Heather Boddy. Proud grandfather of Cassie and Phillip Ciccotelli, Dayna and Joshua Burnard, Eve and Emma Boddy. Beloved brother of Arthur Barbara Boddy, Felicia Ferguson, and Dean Mary Boddy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Boddy was employed for 28 years at Smith Brothers Electric-Detroit, retiring in 1997. Mr. Boddy also served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He is a member of the Local #58 Union - IBEW. Former member of St. Matthias Catholic Church and active member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church. His family said that he was a dedicated husband, Dad, and grandfather. He was volunteer for the St. Leo's Soup Kitchen of Detroit. Visitation will be Saturday and Sunday from 3:00pm-9:00pm with a prayer service Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of VanDykeUtica. Mr. Boddy will lie in state Monday, March 17th at 10:30 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 48115 Schoenherr Road between 21 and 22 Mile Road Shelby Township. Burial in Emmett, Michigan.
