Carolyn Gutholm

Carolyn Billie Gutholm nee Ballard, age 70, a resident of Royal Oak, passed away October 16, 2013 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born June 3, 1943 in Pontiac to the late William and Elizabeth Ballard. Carolyn was a 1961 graduate of Kimball High School. She worked for Ferndale Laboratories. She loved animals, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed travelling and went on 6 cruises. Carolyn was the cherished wife of Jerry Gutholm; the couple married November 30, 1963; loving mother of Robbie Gutholm, Tina Gutholm, Jeff Shelli Gutholm and Wendy Ken Bourgeois; proud grandmother "Gunny" of Andrew Gutholm, Brandon Gutholm, Paige Gutholm, Cameron Bourgeois, Oliver Gutholm and Chloe Bourgeois; beloved friend of Katherine "Kitty" Lanfear for 60 years; dear sister of Diane Blankenship, Janet Lucska, Bill Gail Ballard, Denise Pete Price, Ronnie Carol Ballard; and aunt to many nieces and nephews. Carolyn was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated to assist with medical expenses, and then any remaining funds will be donated to a charity in Carolyn's honor. Arrangements by Wm.
