Bruce Bryant Graden, age 82, a resident of Royal Oak since 1987, died May 20, 2012 at his home. He was born November 28, 1929 in Detroit to the late Niles and Muriel Graden. Mr. Graden was a graduate of Dearborn Junior College and the University of Michigan. He was a vocal teacher at Adams Junior High and John Glenn High School in the Wayne-Westland School District. He was the church organist and Agape at Fellowship United Methodist Church in Troy. He was the choral director at the Livonia Suburban Chorale and a member of the Detroit Together Men's Chorus. He loved traveling and attending Broadway shows, opera and the Detroit Symphony. He was the president of the Just Us Senior Social Organization and a volunteer for Meals-On-Wheels in Oakland County. He is survived by his siblings, Ralph Jeannine Graden and Niles Mary Lou Graden; brother-in-law, Robert Wray; nieces and nephews; long-time partner, Gaynor Fox; and many loving friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Delores Wray. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Fellowship United Methodist Church, 4050 Coolidge Hwy., Troy.
