Brian Morency, Sr

Brian Wallace Joseph Morency, Sr., age 70, of Royal Oak, died April 4, 2009 at his home. He was born December 7, 1938 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. Mr. Morency retired from Chrysler Corporation. He was a member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church and a member of the Order Discalced Carmelites - Secular. He is survived by his beloved wife, Dolores Patnaude Morency; dear children, Shari James II Brunell, Brian Morency Jr. and Lisa Michael McCabe; siblings, Austin Morency, Minola Goodwin and Gloria Barkman; 13 grandchildren. He was predeceased by one grandchild. Visitation will be held Monday 1-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mr. Morency will lie in state Tuesday 9:30 a.m. until time of mass 10:30 a.m. at SS. Cyril and Methodius Roman Catholic Church in Sterling Heights.
