Brenda Gail Hoffman, age 53, a resident of Ferndale, formerly of New Baltimore, passed away February 12, 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. She was born November 4, 1960 in Lincoln Park. Brenda was a former manager at Farmer Jacks and a teller at Bank of America in Clinton Township. She loved to play Texas Hold'em and Bingo. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and her Yukon. She loved going to the beach and Mackinac Island and being with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were her #1 priority; she went to every school function and took them to as many of their activities as she could, even while she was sick. To see her grandbabies smile, meant the world to her. She loved her babies! She was the type of person that loved life more than anything and would give a stranger her last dollar or shirt off her back. She was the beloved wife of Buddy L. Hoffman; the couple married May 14, 2000 in Las Vegas; loving mother of Timothy Tabatha Cichoski, Angela Ferris and Amanda Daniel LeCureaux; proud grandmother of Brooklynn Ferris, Ashton Ferris, Zachary LeCureaux and Sophia LeCureaux; and dear sister of Linda Joe Betz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Helen Dowdy; and in-laws, George and Judith Hoffman. The visitation will be Sunday 2-8 p.m. and service Monday 11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blocks E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The burial will take place at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. Memorials to the donor's choice of charity are appreciated. Share your memories at www.sullivanfuneraldirectors.com.
