Barney Malak

MALAK, Barney T. age 75, died Sunday, November 28, 2010. Beloved husband of Mary A. Dear father of Cindy Randy Curtis of Macomb, Tom Linda Malak of Macomb, Tim Phyllis Malak of Antioch, IL, Marianne Joe King of Sterling Heights, and Lynda Daren Dixon of Sterling Heights. Proud grandfather of Andrew, Brian, and David Curtis, Jason, Jordan, and Jenna Malak; Timothy, Alyssa, and Joshua Malak; Nick, Shannon, and Kaitlyn King; and Daniel, Nicole, Steven, and Michael Dixon. Dear brother of Nancy John Proctor, Bernadine Harvey Aydlott, Joseph Malak, Emma Ronald O'Keefe, Dennis Jewel Malak, Ronald Patricia Malak, Susan Lewandowski, and Michael Debbie Malak all of Madison Heights. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. He is preceeded in death by his parents: Barney and Emma Malak. Mr. Malak retired in 1999 after working for Ford Motor Company - Local #2280 for 33 years. He fought his illness for a very long time. He was surrounded by many loved ones as he peacefully made his way to heaven. Barney was very proud of his grandchildren and family and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00pm-9:00pm and Thursday 2:00pm-9:00pm with his funeral service Friday at 11:00am at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of Van Dyke Utica. Burial at Utica Cemetery.
