Barbara Schiffer

Barbara J. Schiffer, age 63, a resident of Royal Oak, formerly of Birmingham, died December 4, 2010 in Houston, TX. She was born May 25, 1947 in Highland Park. Ms. Schiffer grew up in Beverly Hills, MI. She graduated from Wylie E. Groves High School and Oakland University. She had a long career in pension benefits consulting and had recently retired. She loved spending her new-found spare time with her many friends and family. She is survived by her brothers, Randolph Lynn Schiffer of Santa Fe, NM, Stephen Nancy Schiffer of Potomac Falls, VA, Graeme Mary Schiffer of Houston, TX and Gregory Schiffer of Royal Oak. She was preceded in death by her parents, Brenton and Dolores Schiffer. The visitation will be Friday 5-8 p.m. and the service Saturday 10 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. William Lawrence officiating.
