Barbara Ballard

Ballard, Barbara A. nee Ludeman passed away July 27, 2011. She was born October 5, 1954 in Mt. Clemens, MI. Beloved wife of Dennis Dale Ballard for 23 years. Loving daughter of Rita Ludeman and the late Alois Ludeman of Shelby Twp. She is survived by her brothers, Dennis Ludeman of Shelby Twp., Edward Ludeman of San Francisco, CA, sisters, Mary McGuffin of Port Huron, Rita Ludeman of Novi, Linda Charles Shields of Sterling Heights, Nancy Ted Wright of Rochester. Also survived by step-daughters Donna Curtis Reams and Diana Jason Reams. Sister-in-law to Phyllis Sherman and David Ballard . Also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, with her youthful spirit she cherished the four grandchildren who loved and called her "BB". Barb was employed at DME Madison Heights for 39 years. She enjoyed collecting antiques over her life time and attending Civil War era reenactments. Visitation Sunday 4- 9 p.m. and Monday 2-9 p.m, with a Scripture Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 Blks E. of Van Dyke Utica..
