Collins, Barb, age 88, a resident of Sterling Heights, died Sunday, March 20, 2005; at Wm. Beaumont Hospital, Troy. She was born June 11, 1916, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Mrs. Collins started work as a furrier in Canada until she was employed at Hall Drugs for more than 20 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Gary Karen of Attica, Jeanne Robert Lyle of Lapeer, Judy Don Landerschier of Washington Township, and Janice Rodney German of Algonac; grandchildren, Edward Jennifer Felker, James Felker, Donald Pam Landerschier, Scott Corinne Landerschier, David AmyLanderschier, Ryan, and Rachelle German; Great grandchildren: Amanda, Evan, Jacklyn, Donald, Mason, Hannah, Kennedy, and Dillon; and siblings: Peggy Wilson of Toronto, Canada and Jeannine Gilmore of Alberta, Canada. She was predeceased by her husband, Everett in 1988. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday, at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blocks east of VanDyke, Utica. Pastor Thomas Duncan of Lakeshore Presbyterian Church, St. Claire Shores, will be Officiating. Burial will take place in Utica Cemetery, Utica. Visitation is Tuesday from 1:00pm-9:00pm at the funeral home. Memorials contributins may be made to the March of Dimes. Memories may be shared with the family at www.sullivanfuneraldirectors.com
