Aurora Selby

Aurora Selby, formerly of Rochester Hills and Grosse Pointe Woods, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2012, at the age of 95 years and 11 months. She was born in Horicon, Wisconsin on April 2, 1916 to Agnes and Martin Grunow. She is survived by her daughter Dona Brian Schultz of Troy, Michigan and son Michael the late Shirley Vining of Orlando, Florida. Loving grandmother of Heather Dave Scillion, Jonathon Schultz, Michael Carole Vining, Mark Lori Vining, Brett Vining and the late Kurt Vining. Cherished great-grandmother of Carter and Briana Scillion and Leanne, Jeffry, Craig, Timothy, Scott and Charles Vining.
Aurora's career included over 38 years with Michigan Bell Telephone prior to her retirement in 1981.
Her circle of friends included many caring friends, neighbors and caregivers.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2012 at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica, Michigan. Visitation from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Gene Smith officiating. Contributions will be presented to McLaren Hospice and the Patients Activity Department at Bortz of Oakland Nursing Center send in C/O Dona Schultz.
