Arthur Kuligowski

Kuligowski, Arthur, returned home to be with the Father, April 9, 2010. Age 92 of Utica, MI., formerly of Hamtramck. He was a driver for the Detroit Times and later retired from the Detroit News. He was a WWII Veteran involved in the invasion of Normandy, Omaha Beach, and the Battle of the Bulge in the 44th Infantry Division. A longtime member and usher at St. Lawrence Parish. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Lawrence Council as a 4th Degree Knight, American Legion Post 351 40/8th, VFW, he participated as a Color Guard for both VFW and The Legion Elks, and the Catholic War Veterans. He was a devoted husband and father and a very special person to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all. Beloved husband of Mary for 64 years. Dear father of Constance Donald Earehart of Shelby Twp., Douglas Michelle Kuligowski of Utica, Eugene Dawn of Tawas, and the late Lawrence Kuligowski.Proud Grandfather of Daniel, John, James, Jeramie, Christopher, Jennifer, Lindsay, Joshua, Matthew, Justin, Kristi, Jessica, Avery, Celina. Great grandfather Michael, Jacob, Anthony, Joey, Nathan, Josh, Jeramie, Briana, Sydney, Donivic. Brother of Harry Sophie Kuligowski. and the late Chester Anna Kuligowski, and Elanor Terris. Visitation Sunday & Monday 2-9 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd., Utica. Rosary Monday 7:0 0 p.m.. In state Tuesday 9:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church , Utica until time of Mass at 10:00 a.m.
