Ann Stuart

Ann Stuart, age 86, a 12-year resident of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Bloomfield Hills and Huntington Woods, died August 1, 2009 in Tucson. She was born June 13, 1923 in Barberton, OH. Mrs. Stuart was active in the Royal Oak Woman's Club. She was also a member of the Huntington Woods Lutheran Church and taught Sunday school. She enjoyed playing golf at Indianwood Country Club and was a very good homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Charles Stuart, whom she married December 23, 1943 in San Francisco, CA; son, Brad Myra Stuart; brother, Louis Butash; grandchildren, Jonathon Jennifer Stuart and Cassandra Dan Sommers; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Steven Stuart and Gary Stuart; and brothers, Michael Butash, Stephen Butash and John Butash. Visitation will be Thursday 4:30-8:00 p.m. and service Friday 1:00 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Peter Nickel officiating. The burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak.
