Anita (Skeeter) Wolfe

Anita Helen Wolfe (Skeeter), age 71, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025. Anita was born October 26, 1953 in Newcastle, Wyoming to Ray E. and Helen G. Wolfe. She was the middle child with 2 siblings, Gary Wolfe and Kim Wolfe Fox Stolz.

Anita and her family moved to Montana when she was 13. She married John Anthony Hipp on May 19, 1973 and they divorced October 16, 1974. With the union they had a daughter Katina. Anita worked several jobs in her lifetime; she lastly was a business owner of Skeeter’s Enterprises doing an array of multiple things that included caregiving, housekeeping, lawn mowing and landscaping just to name a few. She loved her hobbies and animals, her greatest gifts and joys were her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Anita moved back to Newcastle in 2013 to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren.

Anita is survived by her daughter Katina (Jerry) Varner, grandson Christopher (Trisha) Simon, granddaughter Makayla (Nathan) Streeter, grandchildren Noah and Rowan Simon, Kaydance, Adysun Taegan and Aceik Streeter, and siblings Gary (Pam) Wolfe and Kim (Kevin) Stolz.

Anita is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Helen Wolfe.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Four Corners Church at 2:00 p.m. Following the service there will be a reception at the Newcastle Country Club.
