Anita Sane

Anita Keefer Sane, born on May 8th, 1958, passed away July 21st, 2011, from complications from breast and uterine cancer. She was 53 years young. Dear sister to Georjene Vanderhoff, aunt to Nichole Vanderhoff Klebba married to Michael Klebba, daughter of the late Virginia and David Sane, companion to Matt Daly. She was very much loved by the members of the Royal Oak Woman's Club, was a member since 1997, and recently held the Vice President position of the club, as well as many other past positions. She was a prominent real estate agent for Keller Williams Realty of Royal Oak for over ten years, and appreciated by her colleagues. Anita was a graduate of Oakland Community College with an Associates degree. She was a recipient of Phi Theta Kappa and very involved in the college politics as a representative. Anita received a full scholarship to the University of Detroit-Mercy where she worked for a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics. Anita was a member of the First Congregational Church of Royal Oak. She was involved with the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce and the Royal Oak Historical Society. She enjoyed gardening and knew all the Latin names of many various plants, flowers and birds. She always enjoyed astronomy, math games and puzzles. She was a very good French cook and loved to create new recipes. A memorial service to be held in Celebration of Anita's life on Sunday, August 21st, 2011, at 3 o'clock in the afternoon, at the Royal Oak Woman's Club 404 S. Pleasant St. Royal Oak, MI presided by Rev. John Miller of the First Congregational Church of Royal Oak.
