No funeral services are planned for Angelo C. Carro, 68, who died Friday, May 23rd at Weston County Health Services in Newcastle. Visitation hours for family and friends have been scheduled from 2:00 to 5:00 pm Tuesday, May 27th at Worden Chapel in Newcastle. Refreshments will be served following visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Newcastle Senior Services Center. Cremation will follow visitation.
Angelo was born March 26, 1940 in New York City, New York, the son of Nicholas and Concetta Arcadipane Carro. He had a kaleidoscope of friendships from young to old and had a powerful impact on all the people who knew him. His strong yet gentle personality drew us all close to him, but perhaps Angelo's greatest gift and lesson to us all was his tremendous love of life.
Surviving him are his five children, Angelo Carro, Jr., Kevin Carro, Nicholas Carro, Deborah Hockett, and Jacob Carro. Also surviving are three brothers, Arnold, Joseph and Anthony Carro; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
