Andrew "Andy" Kominsky Age 93, resident of Shelby Township. Started his life with the Lord on Thursday, October 4, 2012.
Entered into this world on November 15, 1918 in Tarrytown, New York
Andy was employed for 34 years as a Head Crib Attendant with General Motors retiring 1984.
He was an avid outdoors man in his early years of life who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening.
In later years he found enjoyment in carving wood ducks, treasure hunting, cooking and antiquing.
A US Army Veteran of WWII, Captain in the Sea Coast Artillery.
Member of the Civilian Conservation Corps., and Sterling Heights Carvers.
A devout Catholic and member of St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church.
Andy's kindness, generosity, peaceful nature and good humor touched all who knew him. He lived a life of goodness, integrity and compassion and his example and spirit will live on in everyone who loved and admired him.
Beloved Husband of the late Angeline
Loving Father of Margaret Stanley Fortuna, and Cynthia Theodore Hammond.
Visitation at the Wm Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Road 3 Blks E. of Van Dyke
Utica Sunday 2:00- 8:00 pm with rosary 7:00 pm
Instate Monday 9:30am at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church 48115 Schoenherr Rd. Btwn, 21-22 MileShelby Twp. until time of Mass 10:00 AM
Interment Michigan Memorial Park
