Alyce Clapp

Alyce Clapp, age 93, of Southfield, formerly of Berkley for 60 years, died Tuesday, August 19, 2008, at Providence Hospital in Southfield. She was born May 14, 1915, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Clapp was involved with the Berkley Seniors and was a member of the Berkley Vagabonds. She enjoyed needlepoint, arts & crafts and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Clapp, whom she married August 7, 1937; and her son, Michael Clapp. Mrs. Clapp is survived by her children, Keith Martha Clapp of Cape Coral, FL and Linda Dale Stol of Troy; daughter-in-law, Anita Clapp of Berkley; grandchildren, Amanda Daniel Conlon, Michael Clapp, Nicole Dru Martin, Janelle Kevin Stitt and Robert Anita Stol; and great grandchildren, Katherine, Victoria, Ashley, Tyler, Riley, Kennedy, Robby and Peyton.
