Allen Jessee

Allen Jackson Jessee, age 89, of Royal Oak, formerly a longtime resident of Troy, passed away August 13, 2014 at Chester Street Residence. He was born July 14, 1925 in Cleveland, VA to the late Ernest and Ada. Mr. Jessee was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran who served in the South Pacific. He retired in 1984 from Allegheny Ludlum Industries in Ferndale after 25 years as a steel worker. He enjoyed working and also doing cabinetry. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Jessee nee Sculli; loving father of Carole Thomas and Lynn Thomas; and dear uncle of Carol Harvey and Charles Austin. There will be a graveside service with military honors on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at 11 a.m. at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. Arrangements by Wm.
