Alice Gies

Gies, Alice Loretta, age 96, of Franklin, TN, formerly of Royal Oak, MI, died May 24, 2011. Preceded in death by husbands, Albert M. Green of 35 years of marriage and Eugene R. Gies of 27 years of marriage; and two grandchildren. Survived by daughters, Jeanette Oldford, Claudia William Kirkpatrick and Mary Clyde Troutman; brother, George Ann Seefeld; seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Visitation Thursday 5-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. In state Friday 11:30 a.m. until time of Mass 12 noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, Royal Oak. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
