Ada Lee Hartwick, 90, of Royal Oak, died Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Cambridge East Nursing Center, Madison Heights. She was born Oct. 7, 1917, in McKees Rocks, PA. A resident of Oakland County since 1947, Mrs. Hartwick was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and of Plum Hollow Golf Club. In the 1930s, she had her own radio show in Cleveland. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing the violin. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry W. Hartwick, on Nov. 27, 1981. The couple wed May 24, 1996, at First Presbyterian Church, Royal Oak. Surviving are her children, Robert H. Hartwick of Royal Oak and Linda Gerald Ackley of Mason; grandchildren, Kirsten Steve Pennington, Ryan Jennifer Ackley, Richard Sharon Hartwick and Robert Faranak Hartwick and eight great grandchildren.
